Important areas of our teaching work

Under the guiding principle “Education. Opportunities. The future.” We are committed to using education to help others help themselves. To achieve this goal, we want to improve the living conditions of children who have been financially, physically or mentally disadvantaged, adolescents and their families. Our focus on education lies in the following key areas:

Early childhood education and early childhood intervention

In this area, we focus on supporting children up to the age before going to school. With parental involvement, we focus on language, travel, music and social behavior. In addition, the Child & Family Foundation recognizes and supports educational and therapeutic approaches.

School education

Our main work is focused on promoting adequate school education, from primary schools to school drop-out certificates. We are campaigning for children and young people to receive a basic education that is appropriate for their age.

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child since 1989, which states that every child has the right to education, serves as our universal goal. To make this right a reality, we build schools or provide existing educational institutions with the necessary support by rehabilitating, transforming and expanding infrastructure or by providing non-existent learning materials.

Adult education and awareness

While children's education is very important, it is equally important for young people and adults who have never learned to write, read or count.

We see adult education as more than just ongoing training. It also plays an important role in social and economic development and public awareness.

For this reason, we not only focus on school education and further training in this area, but also simplify work methods and programs.

Development of equal opportunities

In partnership with our project partners, we support children, youth and adults with special needs through a variety of education programs and development initiatives. We want them to be able to live independent lives or simplify their lives and thus provide equal opportunities.

 Immediate help

We are developing our long-term projects and focusing on the highest level of sustainability. However, there may be situations, such as hurricanes, severe droughts or broken school buses, that need immediate and temporary support, before we can focus on education. In such cases we provide immediate assistance in order to achieve our long-term goals.
