 Building & Location

   Oxford Montessori & School System is situated on Morgah Village, Rawalpindi. Oxford School has a beautiful huge building with 11 classrooms well-lit and airy, 4 washrooms and also staff room for teachers. Our Playgroup classroom is well airy and decorated for pupils with an exhaustive stock of toys, blocks, puzzles, cut-outs with an additional feature of multimedia.

Library

   A library with an exhaustive stock of books has been established in the school. 

Increasing the knowledge of students, Provided English Newspaper for reading on daily basis. Also provided English-speaking material and environment for the students. The purpose of providing these things is to encourage the students to do their best for them.

Oxford School has also provided internet facilities to the students for searching their thoughts, purpose and enhance their knowledge.

Computer Lab

   The students learn to operate computers and to handle the software and hardware of the computer under the learned supervision of the computer teacher. Our computer lab is facilitating the students in preparing for the age of technology and communication quite effectively.

Audio-Visual Aids

   For the development of the mental approach of the students, some charts, cartoons, maps and LED’s have been displayed in the classrooms.

We are also introducing conceptual learning through tabs and Ipads by showing videos and lectures on the relevant subject.

Canteen

   For providing clean and healthy digestible to the students, Freshly squeezed juices, soft drinks, biscuits, cookies, French fries, chocolates, candies, toffees, burgers, and nuggets are available for the students and teachers. All the food items meet the safety and hygiene standards in the tuck shops.

Books & Stationery

   A separate bookstore has been set up within the school premises to facilitate the students. The students can have books, notebooks, diaries, school uniforms, and stationery of high quality from the bookstore.

Alternative Power Source Arrangement

   As everybody is well aware of the fact that our country is facing a power shortage. We have made arrangements for heavy-duty diesel generators which ensure uninterrupted power supply in the school throughout the year.

First Aid Box

   In case any student gets hurt during play or due to some unavoidable circumstances, a first aid corner has been set up in the school and proper first aid is provided to the students before referring them to the hospital. Proper firefighting equipment has been installed in the school to deal with the emergency of the sudden outbreak of fire.

Dars e Quran And Nazira

   For the spiritual development of the children, Dars-e-Quran is arranged daily in the assembly prayer. For this purpose, we have arranged Khateeb and Qari on a full-time employment basis. While teaching the reading of the Holy Quran, special attention is given to the manner and place of articulation of Arabic sounds along with correct pronunciation. The students are made to learn the prayers and they are also taught how to say the prayers practically whereas they are also made to learn the other situational prayers like funeral prayers by heart and this act enables them to take an active part in religious ceremonies.

Sports & Co-Curricular Activities

   Games and sports play an important role in the development of individuals and nations. Proper arrangements for indoor games like badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. have been made.

In addition to this, functions on Independence Day, Defence Day, Iqbal’s Day, Quaid’s Day, Kashmir Day, Traditional Day, Funfair, Eid Milad-un-Nabi, and farewell parties are arranged for the enlightenment and amusement of the students. Quiz competitions, speeches, declamation contests, Na’at, and The Quranic Verses recitation competition are held regularly to add to the dexterity and knowledge of the students and the winners of these competitions are also given cash prizes along with shields, trophies, and certificates in acknowledgment of their extraordinary skill and achievement.
