Fruit Day
Fruite day My class was made up of four girls, and I was the last girl in the room. We were all sitting around a table at our desks. We were talking, laughing, and eating snacks, but we weren’t paying attention to each other. As usual on this particular day, we were having some sort of discussion, or debate. It looked as though we were both getting ready for another one of those classroom days, but then again, none of us seemed to be listening. Then out of nowhere, she said something that caught me off guard. I had no idea what came over her because I hadn’t realized how much my life had changed since I moved from Seattle to Denver. I had always been very active in sports, even when it wasn’t convenient for me. Now that I have found myself in the city, I am still pretty involved.
